I have used good clean standard dash wiring loom, and spliced in the GT sections to create one good GT loom.
The GT loom was burnt at both fire wall connectors and multiple other location, switch, GT gauges, in-fact most of the Brown wiring was gone.
Have decided to give the wiring ago, big brown wire burnt in a number of place including both wire wall connectors.
Have a couple of other standard looms to hopefully create one good new.
Took a bit to work out the runs as everything was already untapped and and cut in a couple of locations, but got there in the end. Now for the rebuild.
Continued stripping the car back. Today the engine, with the primary focus of getting to the drivers inner wing.
So remove all the wiring. Looks to be a mix of Mk1 and Mk2?
Next step will be removing the engine. And then temporarily the steering box to full strip the paint back to see what the true extent of the damage was/is.
Will need to track down a wiring loom, the big brown wire looks to have gotten very hot on both junctions at the fire wall.
