Opened the bonnet to have a better look around. I knew it had match number engine, but want to check so drilled down into the numbers.
Engine and number but drivers strut match, bingo.

There are some MK2 upgrades on the electrical. Will get someone to look at these and then decide whether to keep as is, or roll back to original.
It also appears to have taken a hit of some sort. Bonnet is not original, but it was whilst inspecting the slam panel and drivers inner wing that things started to look damaged. Has had a quick fix at some point, but inner wing join to out is all out of wack and front valance is all over the place. The out wing and front chassis legs are good and straight.
